Yo! So I was playin ball with my olda brothas when this freakin demo comes chargin into the field. The guy was all ova' the place! Wicked drunk! You'd think the staggerin cyclops would be easy to drag off the field, but he starts 'targin' all around and I have trouble gettin a hold of him! Eventually he charged himself right into the swing of my Sandman, but that's besides the point.

It got me thinkin. What's up with all the speed buffs from Mann Co. lately? Equalizer, Eyelander, Pain Train, Targe... What the heck is all this crap?! When I enlisted, my employer told me it was my duty to provide one unique skill to the team... The same ability I honed right here on the streets of the roughest town in the world. Speed.
That's right. I dodge. I run. I push. I cap. I do it faster than any otha' class and Its gonna stay that way. That's what I'm here for. I didn't work this freakin' hard so some sandwich munchin shaved bear could snag me with every stray bullet n00btascha spits out. I keep myself lean and I run ahead a' all my brothas so the rest of my team never has to face a heavy with a medic hidin behind him, and I do it all as a light class. I chase down spies, destroy stupid crap before engineers can built it up, and I push and cap while mummbles is out W+M1ing himself to death. God only knows what the freakin' snipers on our team are doin' up there in the privacy of our attic.
It reminds me of my Force-A-Nature and Sandman. All the knuckleheads that let me get behind em or couldn't dodge a glowin baseball... Brotha'... Mann Co. balanced out all my stuff and I didn't say a word. I adapted. I honed my skills just like I did here on the streets. I didn't raise a freakin fit about the pyros new ability to airblast and juggle every uber into non-use. I didn't even cry when I saw that spy leavin my ma's room the other night. I got angry. That's how it works. You get even. But givin' all the unique abilities that I bring to the table to every dime a dozen dope that joins the team is gettin me wicked pissed. From here on out I ain't gonna be quiet about any more run buffs. No more cappin or cart pushin buffs either for otha' classes. I worked hard to get where I am, and no otha class gonna do what I can do or learn what I learned on the streets of South Boston.

All these other team members gotta remember I'm fast for a reason. They got their own specials. If heavier classes aren't slower, they won't have any disadvantage. Then the class lines blur and I'm out a job.
Excellent point! If Valve is going to give speed boosting items to other classes they might as well give the scout a health boost. Oh wait, that wouldn't make sense for a scout to have as much health as a pyro or demo. Valve is on a slippery slope with a big pile of glass at the bottom. Next you'll be telling me the engie will be able to build a pyro. 0_o

What REALLY bothers me, is that demos can CHARGE while carrying the intel but Scout's can't use bonk. I'm fine with scout's not being able to drink BONK while holding intel.... but demos should CERTAINLY NOT BE CHARGING WITH INTEL. ...Demos are the most spoiled class in this game. The drunken scotts get everything they want. Now they can cap/push like scouts, and rush with intel. Give me a break. Im going to kill every demo I can find in game.
I agree, no reason to give other classes the single greatest advantage scout has. The best thing about the scout is that it can run in, shoot, then gain some distance before he comes back for more. Each time you give other classes a speed boost. A scout gets clipped by bullets before he rounds a corner, and dies that much quicker. 8/
