I bought this game from steam, started playing it, and then reformatted my computer with windows 7.  I thought "Oh cool, Steam has a 'backup your game' function, go Steam."  Well, screw you Steam because after my reformat and re-import of my back up (that was pretty damn big, and took about three hours, surely it was doing something...) Steam apparently did not keep any of my settings.  So anyway, I only got to level 30 but from what I heard, I didn't miss much (I would play it again with people, if I actually had friends).

A couple of my friends have just discovered the hell that is demon's souls (along with the rest of Europe and US), and from what they tell me, this is pretty damn accurate.
