Starting Thursday, April 8, Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer is free to play on Steam. If you've missed out on playing this game because of your boycott, now's the chance to do so, free of cost. It may not be as tight as Call of Duty 4, but you'll still have a lot of fun with it if you enjoyed the first.

I decided to take the plunge into the Bad Company 2 multiplayer only demo this weekend. The first Bad Company game was a bit too over the top for me as I clamor for realism in my shooters; as realistic as regenerating health and the ability to take multiple bullets can be.

Steam is having a five-day-long one-day-only sale (a different set of deals every day).  Some of these deals have been pretty good, and most of the games are even better.  Which makes for a great combination.  I won't lie, I have been tempted to buy quite a few of these games.  Just yesterday they have Osmos on sale for $2.00, you can't beat that, and the game is actually a pretty sweet game.

I signed up to be in the APB closed beta and I just received an e-mail requesting that I confirm my address.  Being a big fan of what looks like could be a great mmo I'm pretty excited to actually get my hands on this game.  I was wondering if anyone else that signed up got this same e-mail or not?  I hope this means they are starting closed beta soon (and I hope that it means that I'll be participating in said closed beta).

Now, what can we take away from this video class?

Team Fortress 2 has released that they are going to remove all items earned from idling.

Over the next few days we'll be removing all TF2 items that were earned using external idling applications. We're going to adopt a zero tolerance policy for external applications used to manipulate the persistent item system. Due to us not having a policy in place prior to today, this time we're only removing the items earned through cheating the system. Going forward, if we find users using external applications, we'll remove all of their items. If you're interested, only about 4.5% of the players in TF2's community will be affected by this cleansing process.

Grand Theft Auto: The Ballad of Gay Tony is scheduled for release on 29th October 2009. It is the second of the two episodic expansion packs for the Xbox 360 version of the Grand Theft Auto IV video game, developed by Rockstar North.
